Global Alcohol Policy Alliance (GAPA), U.K. Board Member

IAPA is a policy advocacy body to fight the Public health harm of alcohol in India. It is an NGO with medical activists, social activists & public health activists.

IAPA has prepared the Alcohol Atlas of India, first of its kind & was launched in Delhi by Union Minister for Health Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss & Swami Agnivesh. IAPA has prepared a model Alcohol Control Policy for India & submitted to the Ministry of Health.

Advocacy Campaigns against Drunk Driving, Lowered Legal Drinking Age & Surrogate adds in media are organized countrywide by networking with Govt. & NGO’s.

Submitted a document to WHO to declare Oct 2, Gandhi Jeyanthi as World No Alcohol Day.

Emergency & Accident Rescue Centres (EARC)

Tamilnadu Government approved emergency and trauma care units on major highways. These centers are manned by paramedical, round the clock with an ambulance and emergency equipments.

IMA RTA & Emergency Medical Services Programme

In the National Highways at every 25Kms, a trauma care booth will be operated. Initialized in Tamilnadu with 67 Center along major highways.

  • Adopting Telehealth to “Reach the unreached”

My Mission

  • Infections free Commonwealth. Effective & Efficient Waste management system for Hospital Waste, Solid Waste, Hazardous Waste, etc – Healthy Environment
